* Windows software drivers *

To operate S/FILSYN or PCFILT under Microsoft Windows "NT" or later versions, a software driver will be needed to allow the system to access the hardware security key.

Early versions of S/FILSYN using the plain black security key will NOT operate under Windows "NT" or later and must be exchanged for the new "SuperPro" key. A software update will also be required as we do not keep older versions of our software for use with new keys. Contact ALK Engineering for details.

All versions of S/FILSYN that have the beige (grey) colored "Pro" key will require this driver.

All versions of PCFILT prior to version 3.93 use the Sentinel "Scribe" key. Later versions were distributed with the "SuperPro" key but will still operate using the "Scribe" key. This will be the case if you upgraded from an older version of the program.
