Squawker / tweeter networks at 7500 and 8500 Hz for use in 3-way systems are also available. All have adjustable tweeter level settings of 0, -3, -5, -7 and -9 dB attenuation.

** Special set for the LaScala **

A special network combination is now available for use in the Klipsch LaScala. The LaScala uses the same K400 midrange "squawker" horn as the Klipschorn. We have always advocated replacing this horn with the Trachorn 400. The LaScala does not have a removable top section like the Klipschorn. This means that the mounting hole must be enlarged to get it in. Most LaScala owners are not willing to take a saber-saw to the front of their speakers! A good compromise is to keep the K400 horn but move the crossover frequency down to allow the tweeter to take over as low as possible. An additional version of this extreme-slope squawker / tweeter network that crosses over at 4000 Hz rather then 5800 Hz is now available. It is the ES4000. The Bob Crites CT125 tweeter upgrade is included with the network because the stock K77 tweeter can not be counted on to safely go that low. This combination can be used with the ES500T or AP12-500 woofer squawker networks.
